I have started this blog to show C++ implementation techniques to improve performance.
Over the years, I have heard many pre-conceived ideas about what makes a code perform well.
In fact, developers are not helped by the environment they were raised in. Since academics focuses so much on the algorithmic complexity, while being completely oblivious of the hardware capabilities and limitations.
Besides, developers may never find out whether they are right or wrong since benchmarking is so time consuming, and is a science in itself.
I hope to bring valuable knowledge to them.
